Statement
This piece questions the boundaries between indoor and outdoor and allows our traditions of living room activities to go on outside. The living room is placed in the environment and equipped with a window to the underwater space.

I wanted the living to be done on the pond with the same ideas of relaxing, reading, conversing or watching TV that a regular living room would provide. The question of how we domesticate our space and what the interaction with nature would be like from the living room suggested to me that it should be a functional space equipped with books, a radio, power for lights and television viewing and other miscellanea like a fly swatter and cups as needed.
